About

‘You don’t know what you don’t know’ pretty much sums up my thinking right now. About the world, myself, life.

I’m becoming more comfortable with the space of exploration and uncertainty; disagreement, speaking up, and knowing when to stay quiet. In the power of great coaching, being true to myself and doing things differently.

I was born on the Sagittarius/Capricorn cusp in Newport, South Wales, UK; which gives you an idea of my personality if you’re interested in that kind of thing. I currently spend time working in community development across the water in Bristol and nationally as a disability-focused business consultant and trainer. I used to live and work in London. I’m curious about exploring the space between communities, finding common ground, celebrating difference and working to rebalance power. Creativity, music and nature resource me, along with some great humans and a dog with a big heart.

My experience

I’ve been lucky to travel widely and spend time as a volunteer. A permit to visit Tibet and a race across India in a rickshaw are highlights that have opened my mind and challenged my thinking about what’s possible and important in life. I improved my communication skills as a children’s helpline counsellor and got curious about leadership, spending six years as trustee and chair of a fabulous theatre company and charity.

I began my work in the third sector, filling my summers full of playscheme fun with disabled kids. I’m a career project manager and design thinker who started my coaching journey in 2019 to have better conversations, manage more effective teams and see what was possible in my own life. I’m convinced that we’re all less broken and more connected than we’re made to believe in a heavily medicalised and divided world.
